South Asian Community Link Group Australasia Inc

A very hearty congratulation to MP Hon Ros Spence being appointed as Minister for Multicultural Minister Affairs, Community Sport and Youths. I have known Ros for a very long time and got the opportunity to work with her as a president of the South Asian Community Link Group (SACLG).

She has been the patron of our organization since the early days and her mentoring and guidance have helped the organization achieve many milestones and reach this stage. She has always been there supporting activities on Youth, Multiculturalism, Family conflict and South Asia Day, Gender Equality issues. She is a true community person and fully committed to the cause of migrant communities and has advocated strongly for the issue of South Asian communities in and outside the parliament. On many occasions, she has helped organized interactive forums on migrant and multiculturalism issues to bring them to the attention of the parliament.
